Perancangan Aplikasi Promosi dan Informasi Keterampilan Pangkas Rambut Berbasis Digital

The advancement of digital technology offers significant opportunities to enhance service delivery, including in the traditional barbershop sector. In Parepare City, haircut services particularly those operated by traditional barbers such as Madurese barbers are still largely conventional and underutilized in terms of promotion and skills development. This study aims to design a digital-based application that serves both as a promotional tool and a training platform for traditional barbers. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research, with data collected through observation, interviews, online surveys, and literature review. The result is a web-based application that enables users to access barber profiles, service galleries, and available training materials. The application also features customer reviews and ratings to help build trust in the services offered. System testing was carried out using white box and black box methods, indicating that the application functions as intended. It is expected that this application can serve as a digital solution to support local barbers in promoting their services, enhancing their skills independently, and contributing to the growth of the creative economy within the informal sector.
