Pengaruh Safety Leadership melalui Safety Knowledge terhadap Safety Behavior Pekerja di Perusahaan Akumulator Listrik

The electric battery company is a business that manufactures automotive batteries through a variety of production processes. These diverse nature of these production processes direcly present varying potential hazard at every stage and every work area. Thus, role of safety leadership is crucial in fostering workers’ safety awareness. Leadership that prioritizes safety can enhance workers’ safety knowledge, enabling them to better understand risks and safe work procedures, which ultimately optimizes the implementation of safe work practices, This study examined 100 workers at an electric battery company. The objective of this study was to determine the direct effect of safety leadership and the indirect effect through safety knowledge on safety behavior using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate a significant direct effect of safety leadership on safety behavior (t-value = 6,762) and (p-value = 0,000), a significant direct effect of safety knowledge on safety behavior (t-value = 6,762) and (p-value = 0,000), significant direct effect of safety leadership on safety knowledge (t-value = 6,762) and (p-value = 0,000), as well as a significant indirect effect of safety leadership through safety knowledge on safety behavior (t-value = 6,762) and (p-value = 0,000).
