Pengaruh Kalibrasi Tekanan Injector terhadap Torsi, Daya, dan Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Mesin Diesel Mitsubishi L300

This study aims to analyze the effect of injector pressure calibration on the performance of the Mitsubishi L300 diesel engine, focusing on torque, power, and fuel consumption. The tests were conducted under two injector pressure conditions: before calibration (105.52 Bar) and after calibration (117.68 Bar), at engine speeds of 1000 rpm and 1500 rpm. The results show that calibrated injector pressure significantly improves engine torque and power. At 117.68 Bar and 1500 rpm, torque increased from 301.056 Nm to 338.688 Nm, and shaft power rose from 47.27 kW to 53.17 kW. Although fuel consumption also increased, the combustion efficiency improved, as indicated by a lower specific fuel consumption (Sfc) value. Therefore, injector pressure calibration has proven effective in enhancing overall engine performance. This research recommends incorporating injector calibration as part of preventive maintenance in light-duty commercial diesel engines such as the Mitsubishi L300
