The rapid development of digital technology requires skill-based sectors, including tailoring, to adapt in order to remain efficient and productive. At the Selayar Job Training Center, the process of clothing design and pattern drafting is still conducted manually, requiring considerable time and posing risks of calculation errors. This condition motivated the implementation of a community service program focused on the application of a web-based clothing design and pattern system. The method consisted of socialization, application demonstration, hands-on practice sessions, and evaluation through observation and group discussion. The activity involved 13 tailoring trainees as participants. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of web-based technology in the design process, a positive shift in attitudes toward digitalization, and a perceived reduction in time required for pattern calculation compared to manual methods. Although limitations were identified, particularly regarding user interface refinement and dependence on internet connectivity, the application was considered relevant to vocational training needs and shows strong potential for further development. Therefore, the implementation of this web-based application contributes to supporting digital transformation within the local tailoring skill sector.
