Penerapan Cross-Docking untuk Efisiensi Logistik Shopee di Era Lonjakan Transaksi E-Commerce

Pertumbuhan pesat e-commerce di Indonesia, khususnya dominasi Shopee, menghadirkan tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan logistik, terutama pada saat lonjakan transaksi seperti kampanye 11.11 dan 12.12. Permasalahan utama yang muncul meliputi backlog pengiriman, tingginya inventory di gudang sortir, serta keterlambatan pemenuhan pesanan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penerapan strategi cross-docking berbasis formulasi Truck Sequencing Problem (TRSP) sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi. Metode yang digunakan berupa simulasi perbandingan antara sistem konvensional dan sistem cross-docking dengan parameter waktu tinggal (dwell time), jumlah inventory puncak, serta rentang operasi (operation span). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cross-docking mampu menurunkan rata-rata dwell time sebesar 86,4%, mengurangi inventory maksimum hingga 68,1%, dan memperpendek operation span sebesar 28,6% dibandingkan sistem konvensional. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi TRSP dengan strategi cross-docking berpotensi meningkatkan kecepatan distribusi, mengurangi biaya logistik, serta meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen Shopee. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan data operasional riil Shopee, mempertimbangkan multi-dock, heterogenitas produk, serta integrasi dengan sistem last-mile delivery untuk memperoleh hasil yang lebih komprehensif.
